In Poland, work is already underway in the area of development and testing of 5G networks. In 2017, an Agreement for the “5G Strategy for Poland” was established by the Ministry for Digitization, which will allow Poland to join the group of 5G technology leaders. Moreover, the consortium of Systemics-PAB, Orange Polska and the National Institute of Telecommunications – all signatories in the 5G PERFECTA project – will ensure the consideration of recommendations from Polish telecommunications industry experts in identifying and eliminating 5G development barriers.
This is why Systemics-PAB, Orange Polska and the National Institute of Telecommunications are working in particular on the following 5G PERFECTA project:
- methodologies for calculating the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSS) rating for effective testing of the quality of 5G network solutions and services, including in real-time
- developing new services with significantly better parameters than currently available services
- methodology and system for monitoring the quality of services in 5G networks, in particular for video streaming in Virtual Reality (VR) services
- experimental research measuring the quality parameters of networks and services in pilot 5G installations in the Orange network.
Paweł Biskupski, president of SYSTEMICS-PAB declares
“We help operators and organizations understand the practical issues of quality services in mobile and fixed networks. As part of the 5G PERFECTA project, assumptions for testing 5G network performance will be developed
, based on determining Key Performance Indicators metrics. Their purpose is to determine the actual behaviour of 5G networks and services, including the process of registering terminals in the network, coverage and availability of services (e.g. 360o video, augmented reality, remote driving, IoT solutions), geolocation accuracy and data download speed tests and quality testing services. The upcoming solutions will enable a common unified assessment of the quality of the network and services offered.”
Together with our partners, we do perform end-to-end network & service quality improvements carried out by testing, monitoring, analyzing and optimizing projects in all networks domains and environments including 5G challenges.
Our customers really appreciate the depth of our analysis and the fact that our reports are delivered from an interactive reporting system. This allows them to do any ad-hoc filtering or slicing of results with a few clicks of a mouse.
