First place among Danish mobile operators in the call quality category goes to operator TDC, the results of benchmark tests carried out last autumn show. In the four Danish mobile operators’ networks: TDC, Telenor, Telia and 3, we tested voice and data services in all available technologies: 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G. Our test cars covered a distance of about 3,700 kilometers.

Tests conducted in Denmark in late October and early November 2024 by Systemics-PAB showed the quality of mobile networks in the country. Both voice and data connections were tested, taking into account the usage model (web browsing, gaming and video streaming) and areas with different population densities (large cities, towns and roads). Measurements were carried out taking into account ETSI standards. The first place winner – operator TDC scored 95.1 points according to the standards, second place went to Telenor with a score of 94.2, third to Telia with 93.8, and fourth was operator 3 with a score of 89.5.

The biggest differences between operators were detected during testing voice call set-up times and when measuring data speeds. The latter result may be influenced by the different transmission aggregation policies used by individual operators.

We invite you to read the most important theses of the report on measurement in Denmark.
