13-16 March 2016 Systemics-PAB and its partner Metaswitch have presented next generation solutions for entertainment and media service providers gathered at FORTEL, leading branch event in Łódź, Poland. It was the first introduction of how we are powering the transition of communication networks into a cloud-based, software-centric, all-IP future.
Why HD VOICE, VIDEO AND MESSAGING?
More homes than ever before are now connected by broadband, and consumers are turning towards VoIP for telephony. For many consumers, there is still value in having a “fixed” presence in the home, but they want smarter services and a better selection of ways to stay in touch. The rise of smartphones and OTT apps gives consumers more communications choices. Revenue from delivering basic voice services is in sharp decline. UC, VoLTE, WebRTC, or RCS – even at a low deployment cost – aren’t enough to reverse this trend. Therefore, network operators may want to replace traditional voice services with an IP-based multimedia solution.
We believe it’s a must investment to protect and increase revenues for the future. In turn we have showed up how to deploy and market the solution best possible way in the Polish market.
